Upcoming Convention and Seminar appearances!

Tokyo in Tulsa - Tulsa, OK, August 1-3rd
I'm going south for August! Tokyo in Tulsa is hosting me for their convention in Oklahoma. "Oooooo-klahoma as the wind comes sweeping down the plain..." Looking forward to it!

SacAnime - Sacramento, CA, August 29-31st
I'm headed back to Sacramento in August for SacAnime! I'm looking forward to seeing all the Northern California fans again! Here's a link to their guest page. See you there!

If you would like me to attend a convention...
...please have the convention contact my agent, Arlene Thornton, in order to negotiate terms for my appearance. While I love meeting the fans, please understand that I have a very busy work schedule and I can't possibly attend all the wonderful conventions out there. Thanks for your understanding and your interest.

Hope to see many of you at these events! Look for more convention announcements in the future!

Want to know How to become a Voice Actor? Check out my FAQ page, and scroll down for Voice Acting Information.

If you have any questions, please join the conversation at my Yahoo! fansite where I regularly answer questions. I can reach more people that way than by individual e-mails.

And on the subject of individual e-mails, I apologize that I have been so bad at responding, but I'm honestly buried at the moment with work. I so appreciate each and every fan mail I get and wish I had more time to respond. Hopefully soon I can, but right now, all my effort is going into anime production, so hopefully I can make up for my lack of correspondence with more high quality anime!

Important! Regarding Bootlegs:

Recently I've had a lot of fans coming up to me at conventions asking me to sign illegal, pirated, bootleg copies of Anime DVDs that have stolen my voice work as well as the animation work of companies that I work for. These are usually very sophisticated packaging jobs that look very professional, but unfortunately are almost always Chinese knock-offs of the legitimate DVD. In the past, it was very rare that a fan came up and asked me to sign a bootleg, but it has begun to happen more and more often in recent months. This puts me in a horrible dilemma.

While I would like to make a fan happy by signing their DVD, I cannot endorse the purchase of pirated DVDs or CDs that hurt the animation companies that hire me to do voice work. If a company loses money on a show because the fans are buying the bootleg instead of the legitimate copy, then they will not have the money in the future to hire me as a voice actor on any future products. If you enjoy an artist's work, please support them by buying a legitimate copy of their work. Buying bootlegs is a slap in the face to an artist. It hurts the very creator you say you admire. To put it simply then, I will not sign any bootleg DVDs or CDs at any future convention. I realize that many people make an honest mistake when buying a bootleg DVD or CD and don't realize that it's not legitimate until after they've already purchased it. While I sympathize, I still cannot sign any bootlegs. Thanks for your understanding.

If you'd like know whether or not your DVD or CD is a bootleg, I recommend the Pirate FAQ at Anime Digital. They have a very comprehensive listing of pirate anime companies and how to identify their illegal copies.

New Anime and Video Games:

Yes, it's true, I will be returning to play Alucard in the new Hellsing Ultimate OVA series. Thanks to all the fans who wrote letters and signed petitions to have me back! I so appreciate it!

I'm playing Superman in the new Justice League: Heroes video game. That's right, yours truly as the Man of Steel. You can even catch snippets of my voice in the new trailer on their website.

I'm also playing Hagi and Van Argeno in the new anime TV series, Blood+. It's currently running on Adult Swim!

I've just been working on the character of Karasu in the amazing looking new show called Noein. This is gonna be one to watch!

I play two voices in the new Kingdom Hearts II video game, Setzer, from the Final Fantasy franchise and also Will Turner from Pirates of the Carribean. I am the voice match for Orlando Bloom for the game which was a real treat.

I'm also in the new Final Fantasy: Advent Children movie coming out on DVD at the end of April. I play Rude of the Turks.

Howl's Moving Castle was a great success! I played Prince Turnip a.k.a. Turnip Head in Miyazaki's latest movie! I'm very excited to have played a small but important role in Hayao Miyazaki's latest film, Howl's Moving Castle. Miyazaki directed the academy award winning film, Spirited Away. He's a personal hero of mine and it is an honor to have worked on one of his projects.

Scrapped Princess is in stores now! I directed the dub of the show as well as played one of the main characters, Shannon Cassul. Check out this wonderful review on DubReview.com.
Also check out the Official Scrapped Princess English Website.

I'm on a number of shows on Adult Swim and Toonami right now including:

IGPX as Bjorn Johassen
Ghost in the Shell
as Togusa
Wolf's Rain as Tsume
Witch Hunter Robin as Amon
The Big O as Alan Gabriel
Kikaider as Rei Kikaider
Ravemaster as Shuda and Seighart

Zatch Bell as Kane
s-CRY-ed as Straight Cougar
